Welcome! (ou)r Democracy is a place that you can learn, express, contribute thoughts and information on the political process here in the United States of America. Often times, news is presented as fact when there is a corporation backing this "fact" and leaving out the voices of the people who really matter.
(ou)R Democracy promises to provide vital information that will relate to a generation who will be the future leaders of America. We need to begin exercising our rights of expression of our views, in order to reach common ground on issues that have been plaguing America for centuries.
(ou)R Democracy will deal with every day issues on a national scale and emphasize the correlation of these issues to the individuals personal existence. Isolationist attitudes such as "As long as it does not happen in my community, it does not affect me" has been use to divide us as a people and allowing our democracy that was designed to protect those there in, to be used against us.
By joining together, sharing ideas, debating the tough issues, we are exercising our right to democracy, which is simply the will of the people.
